Willie serves as the Poverty Initiative Scholar-in-Residence and is the Coordinator of the Poverty Scholars Program.

The student group FREE, FCCAN and the Fort Collins Homeless Coalition are hosting these events. They are sponsored by the Parents Fund and by the departments of Ethnic Studies, Women's Studies, Economics, Political Science, Social Work, Education, and Anthropology.
