Salon duc Tape – Oil and Gas after SB19-181

June 26, 2020 @ 7:00 pm – 9:00 pm
Online- Zoom

What impact is Senate Bill 19-181 likely to have on oil and gas extraction in Colorado?

Andrew Forkes-Gudmundson, Deputy Director of the League of Oil and Gas Impacted Coloradans (LOGIC), will address the topic of oil and gas extraction at the salon on Friday, June 26th.  He will first talk through the history of oil and gas development and regulation in Colorado, before diving into recent legislative and regulatory activity.  Andrew  will discuss SB19-181 and the regulatory revisions currently ongoing at the Colorado Oil and Gas Conservation Commission, as well as the next steps and what we can do as members of the impacted public.

Andrew has a law degree from the University of Wyoming, and has spent the last four years working on issues related to oil and gas development in the West, on our public lands, and in our neighborhoods. At LOGIC, he focuses on bringing the voice of impacted Coloradans to decision makers at every level of government.

Please note that this will be the last salon before our traditional “summer break.” Salons will resume again on August 28th, and we’re looking for speakers and topics!.  Please reach out to us at if you would like to discuss a potential presentation.
