Join Fort Collins Partners for Clean Energy on Friday evening June 22nd for an exclusive premiere of an inspiring film Reinventing Power: America’s Renewable Energy Boom, followed by discussion about progress toward clean carbon-free electricity in Fort Collins and the Platte River Power Authority service area. Fort Collins Partners for Clean Energy (NCP4CE), a local coalition, is leading a campaign to get Fort Collins to commit to 100% clean electricity by 2030. On Earth Day in April, NCP4CE proposed a resolution to Fort Collins City Council for 100% clean electricity by 2030, now under consideration by the City. The City of Longmont, which is also served by PRPA, has already committed to achieving 100% clean electricity.
