Join the Fort Collins Homeless Coalition (FCHC) in a ribbon-cutting ceremony for Fort Collins’ FIRST year-round, publicly installed, hydration station!
FCHC works toward goals affirmed and raised by people who are homeless, including issues surrounding access to water, bathrooms, and sanitation throughout our community. After FoCo Cafe installed our community’s first year-round hydration station, FCHC campaigned for the City to utilize similar technology to ensure year-round public access to drinking water throughout all of Fort Collins. In April 2018, the Parks Department installed the first such hydration station in a public park (Oak St. Plaza) in Fort Collins.
Sanitation — access to toilets and to clean water — is a pervasive human rights issue around the world, including here in Fort Collins. Come celebrate this step forward with us!
