Coral reefs around the world are vanishing at an unprecedented rate. A team of divers, photographers and scientists set out on a thrilling ocean adventure to discover why and to reveal the underwater mystery to the world. Chasing Coral, a film produced and directed by Colorado filmmaker Jeff Orlowski, will be shown in Fort Collins as part of Off the Hook Arts’ SummerFest: MISSION EARTH on Saturday, July 7th at Trinity Lutheran Church, 301 E. Stuart Street, 80525. Donations will be gratefully accepted at the door on a sliding scale of $5 – $15 per person.
Join us at Trinity Lutheran Church in their shady backyard area along the Spring Creek walking path at 5:30pm for food trucks, family-friendly activities, and the music of Hayduke. Members of local and statewide environmental organizations will be present with information on what’s already being done and how you can be involved. Chasing Coral screening begins at 7:00pm with the film’s feature star Zackery Rago introducing and leading a post-discussion.
Chasing Coral was released by Netflix in 2017. Its duration is one hour and 29 minutes. Chasing Coral is recommended for children over eight years of age.
